CinnaClove REL (aka Five Thieves Oil)

CinnaClove REL (aka Five Thieves Oil)

Our community has a strong Amish presence.  It is a kinder, gentler way of life as the Amish are viewed as the salt of the earth.  I am fortunate to have Amish friends.  In fact, my upbringing in rural Kentucky was very much similar to the Amish way of life.  No air conditioning, fresh air, eating what we grow and raise, and working up a sweat daily are a few of the similarities.  And, oh yes, church attendance and worshipping God was very much a part of our daily lives.

Interestingly at the onset of a horrible world disease in 2020, when one of the Amish matriarch’s was asked about any health issues in their community, she replied there may have been one man but he was fine after a day.  She also went on to comment that “you Anglish [sp] watch too much television.”

The world has been and continues to be plagued with diseases and other catastrophes with devastating results.  Anecdotal remedies, such as Five Thieves Oil1, have survived many variations in many cultures for centuries to combat diseases.  However, some essential oils used in various Five Thieves Oil recipes are mentioned repeatedly throughout the Bible2 and other cultures as having healing properties via physically, spiritually, or psychologically.  These essential oils, which some are included in the CinnaClove REL (Five Thieves Oil) synergy, are supportive and helpful for:

Cinnamon (Cinnamomum zeylanicum):  colds, flu, bronchitis, acute upper respiratory infections[1,3,4]
Clove (Eugenia caryophyllata):  immune strengthening, anti-infectious, broad spectrum antibacterial[1,3,4]
Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis):  antibacterial, respiratory decongestant, expectorant[1,3]
Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus radiata):  expectorant, antiviral, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory3
Lemon (Citrus limon):  antioxidant, detoxification3

Regardless of what remedies are utilized, there will always be diseases and taking a holistic approach to our health is most beneficial.  Fresh air, diet, and exercise continue to be a favorable approach to good health.  Additionally, essence from plants is my go to for protecting my psyche and physical well being, and fortunately CinnaClove REL (Five Thieves Oil) continues to be very helpful for the respiratory and immune systems.  As always for safety, test the synergy on a forearm first.  Any irritation can be remedied with a vegetable oil (olive, avocado, etc.).5

I have used doTERRA deodorant for years. Beti shared her Wild Hills Pits Deodorant and I have been so pleased with the results and the clean ingredients. Thank you so much!
